What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
I have learned that God loves me and has a specific plan for my life. I have learned God yearns for me to follow Him and carry out His Great Commission. Missionettes has taught me to be sensitive to others needs and minister to others.
Who was your greatest support as you completed the program and why?
My Missionettes sponsors, Linda and Geraldine, were always there for me and willing to go the extra mile for me. They have been great mentors and supported me so much. My mom helped me so much too. She encouraged me during the entire program!
What fun memory would you like to share?
I have so many warm memories. Attending retreats, sleepovers, and state honor celebrations are events that are vivid in my mind. I remember once during a retreat everyone dressed up from different time periods. We dressed up like hippies from the '70s! It was so much fun! Another fun memory is attending sleepovers. I found that they were a great way to become better friends with my fellow Missionettes and sponsors. Lastly, Honor Celebrations were very memorable for me. They were wonderful not only for me, but I cherish sharing that day with the other young ladies who have also accomplished much. God has truly equipped me for my future!
