What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
To follow your dreams no matter what. The world may try to persuade you to give up, but I have learned that if you lean on the Lord, He will give you strength to endure all of your trials.
Who was your greatest support as you completed the program and why?
My mom has always been there to encourage me all along the way. She even became my Stars Sponsor in one church just so I could keep up in the Missionettes program. My desire to stay in the program has become her dream as well. She also became my Missionettes Coordinator when our previous coordinator left.
What fun memory would you like to share?
When our church holds its annual Missionettes Sleepover, we include a funny “fashion show.” All the girls come dressed out in silly dresses or outfits. It is just a really good laugh to see the little girls in dresses two sizes too big and putting on a show. Of course, it is all for fun.
