What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
To always stay strong because God will be with you every step of the way and He will always remain faithful.
Who was your greatest support as you completed the program and why?
I would have to say my mom. She always helped me when I had a question and never left my side—ever. She encouraged me every step of the way.
What fun memory would you like to share?
I always loved all of the retreats. I loved becoming an Honor Star, and walking down the aisle with my dad. He's always been a big part of my life. Favorite memories also include receiving the Miriam Award in 1999 for fortitude and trust in the Lord during my own brush with death and in the loss of a major organ. Also when I received the Miriam award, I realized that day that people do care for me, and that the whole church loves and prays for me. I learned that people were there for me and that Jesus was always with me through this trial.
