What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
I have learned many important things in Missionettes. I love this program. It has been wonderful, and a very memorable part of my life. The greatest lesson I learned in Missionettes is the importance of daily Bible reading and a close relationship with the Lord. Looking back, I am so thankful for all of the Scriptures I've memorized and truly hidden in my heart. In times of need, I am able to think back on the Scriptures and begin to thank and praise God for all the awesome things He's done in my life.
Who was your greatest support as you completed the program and why?
My mom has always been a huge part of my life, especially when it came to Missionettes. She was my Daisies sponsor, as well as my Prims sponsor, and she has always helped me with projects, reports, or any other activity I needed help with. Also, there have been many other sponsors who have made a huge impact on my life. They have been mentors to me and great role models to pattern my life after: Mrs. Mary, Mrs. Trish, Mrs. Anna, Mrs. Gayle, Mrs. Mae, Mrs. Liz, and my mother. I thank you for all the time and commitment that you dedicated to Missionettes. You'll never know how much of an impact you had on my life and I truly appreciate you and love you!
What fun memory would you like to share?
There have been many memories and good times that I've experienced and shared while I was in Missionettes. The yearly retreats and sleepovers were always so much fun! But who can forget the time when I was being presented as an Honor Star? I was walking down the stairs from the balcony. I missed a step and I lost my balance! I didn't fall down though-I made a quick recovery. I have enjoyed every moment of being a Missionette and I wouldn't trade this experience for anything in the world!
