What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
The greatest lesson I’ve learned is how to live out my faith. In many of the lessons, I learned facts about issues relevant to my life and struggles in today’s world. I can now take a stand in my faith, knowing many facts and Scriptures to back up what I say and do. The facts and lessons I have learned will stay with me for a very long time, and they have helped me grow in my faith and my life daily.
What fun memory would you like to share?
I have so many funny memories from all my years in the Missionettes program. It’s so hard to choose one! I definitely loved the camps I went to, especially the last Friends and Girls Only camp at Disneyland. I also loved the progressive dinners we did two Christmases in a row with our Friends group. That reached a lot of people in our church. We did so many fun projects, too, such as helping out with Operation Christmas Child and doing mission projects. I have many fun experiences I could share.
What has Missionettes contributed to your life?
The program is a positive foundation for younger children. I feel especially blessed in having this strong background as a kid, when a lot of my Christian friends haven’t. I know it has definitely had an impact on my life.
