What is the greatest lesson you learned in Missionettes?
The greatest lesson I learned in Missionettes was perseverance. Graduating the old Stars program took a great deal of discipline and endurance — and I’m glad I had the experience. Friends and Girls Only took less discipline because the work was a great deal easier, but staying in the program the entire time has left me with a sense of satisfaction.
Who was your greatest support as you completed the program and why?
My greatest support came from my mom; my sponsor, Miss Annette; and my coordinator, Miss Rhonda. My mom and Miss Annette were there for me during the entire process, and Miss Rhonda always supported me and made certain that the graduation at the end was well worth the wait.
What fun memory would you like to share?
There are so many great memories that I will always treasure, but one of the best was our last retreat. Miss Rhonda (our coordinator) held the retreat in a Disney hotel. Friends and Girls Only Club members could bask around the pools, tour all of the hotels, ride the monorail, cruise Downtown Disney, and enjoy the nightly fireworks at Disney World from the Polynesian Resort’s beach.
